At the Tianfu International Circuit in Chengdu, Xiaomi’s SU7 Ultra set an outstanding lap time of 1:26.741 seconds. As a result, this extraordinary performance has earned the SU7 Ultra the title of the fastest four-door production car to ever grace the circuit.

The SU7 Ultra incorporates a sophisticated triple-motor all-wheel-drive system, incorporating two HyperEngine V8s and one HyperEngine V6s motor. This powertrain configuration generates an extraordinary 1,548 horsepower, enabling the vehicle to achieve remarkable acceleration figures: 0-100 km/h in just 1.98 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 5.86 seconds, and a quarter-mile time of 9.23 seconds. The car’s claimed top speed exceeds 350 km/h, positioning it as a contender for the world’s fastest four-door production vehicle.

The record-setting EV featured several performance-oriented elements, including a prototype-style front hood vent that may be offered as an optional component in the production model. The EV’s aerodynamic capabilities are enhanced by 17 carbon fiber components and an advanced aerodynamic kit that generates 285 kg of downforce, contributing to its exceptional handling characteristics. The suspension system includes optional Bilstein EVO T1 coilovers with 10-stage adjustability, allowing drivers to fine-tune their vehicle’s handling characteristics based on driving conditions and preferences.
