The Off-Road Sports EV CALLUM SKYE Set To Debut On Concours

The electric vehicle (EV) market has been hit with anticipation as the CALLUM SKYE, the off-road sports EV designed by Ian Callum, prepares for its public debut at Concours on Savile Row in Mayfair, London, United Kingdom (U.K.). 

First revealed in November 2023, the CALLUM SKYE has been thoroughly engineered to provide an exciting driving experience both on and off the road. Only measured at 4,047 mm long and 1,900 mm wide, this particular EV is designed for adventurous rides with its 42 kWh battery and possesses an estimated range of 170 miles with a full charge in less than 10 minutes. As for its acceleration specs, the CALLUM SKYE has an acceleration from  0 to 60 mph in under 4 seconds due to its lightweight build, weighing merely 1,150 kg (around 2500 lbs). 

As for the interior, the CALLUM SKYE features a 2+2 enclosed cabin with a sleek center console bridge designed with tactile, rotary touchscreen dials. This brings effortless control over the HVAC and other key features. Moreover, the dashboard contains a central touchscreen compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Also, there are two cossetting sports seats in the front and a flexible bench seat at the back with it flexible to be removed for extra storage space.

David Fairbairn, managing director of CALLUM, expresses his enthusiasm for the CALLUM SKYE’s debut stating, “The CALLUM SKYE is bold, beautifully engineered and crafted with refinement and craftsmanship. The same can be said for the world-leading bespoke tailoring that exists on Savile Row. We can’t wait to see and hear the reactions of event visitors who will be the first to see SKYE in person.”

In terms of pricing, the CALLUM SKYE may be priced between £80,000 to £110,000 ($101,700 to $140,000) according to Autocar. Furthermore, additional details and specifications of its trims will be confirmed throughout 2024. As of now, orders are open and reserving the CALLUM SKYE is available. The CALLUM SKYE will make its debut on May 22nd and 23rd, 2024.
