Tesla Model Y Now Comes With 0.99% APR Financing 

Tesla has launched its latest and limited-time financing offer for its Model Y electric vehicle (EV) with an exceptionally low annual percentage rate (APR) of 0.99%. This promotional offer is available until May 31st, aimed at increasing demand in the EV market. 

This promotional financing applies to orders on its Model Y with loan terms ranging from 36 to 72 months. Moreover, the promotional financing offer extends across all trim options with the loan term requiring a $4,250 down payment. The recently launched Model Y Long Range RWD trim is eligible for the promotional offer and comes with monthly payments of $603 before incentives. Notably, it is cut down to merely $499 after adding the federal EV tax credit. 

The Model Y Long Range RWD was launched at a starting price of $44,990. After adding the federal EV tax credit of $7,500, which cuts down the price to $37,490. Importantly, the Model Y Long Range RWD now comes with an estimated range of 320 miles on a single charge compared to its previous estimated range of 260 miles. 

Tesla’s promotional financing offer comes after decisions to slash interest rates from its previous actions in the Chinese EV market, where the company launched 0% loans to increase sales. As a result, Tesla is mirroring similar efforts in the United States (EV) market with this 0.99% APR financing offer. 

As Tesla introduces these enticing financing offers, the company is making proactive approaches to solidify its position in the EV market.
