Jeep Set To Offer $7,500 Lease Discount On Upcoming Wagoneer S

Jeep is making its upcoming Wagoneer S electric vehicle (EV) arrive with an offering of a $7,500 lease discount when it hits dealerships. This marks a grand entry for Jeep for its first full electric model in its lineup.

Set to hit dealerships this fall with a starting price of $71,995 for the Launch Edition, the Wagoneer S is positioning itself as a formidable competitor to Tesla’s top-selling Model Y as Jim Filosa, Head of Jeep Brand North America, told Automotive News earlier this month that “we are targeting are mainly Tesla… but there are many others.” With the $7,500 lease discount, Jeep aims to make the electric SUV more attainable for potential buyers.

In regards to the specs of the Jeep Wagoneer S, it delivers an estimated range of over 300 miles and can charge from 20% to 80% in just 23 minutes with a DC fast charger due to its 100 kWh battery pack. Jeep also showcased its acceleration capabilities from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds. In addition, the Wagoneer S was recently reported to be produced at Jeep’s Toluca Assembly Plant in Mexico.
