GMC has released new updates for its upcoming electric vehicle (EV) offering, 2024 Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 that are set to be delivered this Summer 2024. With a higher range and a cheaper print point, the 2024 Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 is coming to change the EV market with its introduction.

Before the updates, the Denali Edition 1 was listed to have 400 miles of range. Now, it comes with 440 miles of range, marking a 10% boost due to the GM Ultium Platform. Other updates for the Denali Edition 1 include a 10,000 lbs max towing capacity and 1,450 lbs of max payload. These new updates also mark a boost of 500 lbs and 150 lbs respectively.

In terms of performance, the Denali Edition 1 possesses a GM-estimate 754 hp and 785 lb-ft of torque while in Max Power Mode. As for acceleration, it can go from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds or less. Regarding the charging option, the Denali Edition 1 has 800 Volt DC fast-charging up to 350kW. This can bring up to 100 miles of range in just around 10 minutes. One standout feature is the CrabWalk, where the Denali Edition 1 can move diagonally at low speeds with four-wheel steering.

As for the interior, the Denali Edition 1 will contain a 16.8-inch diagonal center touchscreen with an 11-inch diagonal reconfigurable driver information center display and a Bose Premium 7-speaker audio system. In addition, you can have access to Super Cruise, which is GMC’s self-driving technology.

Here is the best part, the Denali Edition 1 with these better specs added to its functions now comes at a lower starting price. The starting price including a destination charge for the Denali Edition 1 is $99,495. This price comes thousands of dollars less than the original price point. It also comes cheaper than Chevrolet’s 2024 Silverado EV First-Edition RST, which is also coming middle of this year. Through this pricing point, GMC is putting up higher standards for its EV models that attempt to set it apart from other companies.
