ZEEKR Launches 009 MPV and RHD Version in Hong Kong

ZEEKR has officially launched its all-new 009 multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) and its right-hand drive (RHD) version in Hong Kong’s electric vehicle (EV) market, marking a major step in the company’s global expansion strategy in Asia.

The new Zeekr 009, which first debuted in late 2022, has been redesigned to provide unprecedented levels ofcustomization and comfort in the MPV segment. Buyers can now select from various configurations including different e-powertrains, battery options, and seating arrangements for 4, 6, or 7 passengers according to ZEEKR. 

In terms of performance, the top-tier trim of the new Zeekr 009 has an acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.9 seconds due to its silicon-carbide-powered e-motors. The EV model also features an upgraded chassis with a dual-chamber air suspension system and CCD dampers as standard.

The ZEEKR’s 009 interior comes with a 15.05-inch OLED front screen and a 17-inch OLED rear screen, both powered by Qualcomm 8295 chips. The interior is also completed by a 30-speaker Yamaha surround sound system. One of the standout features of the new ZEEKR 009 is its luxurious second-row seating. Upholstered in premium NAPPA leather, these premium seats arrive with headrest speakers, ventilation, massage, and heating functions. The EV model also introduces an exclusive “lounge chair” mode, inspired by the Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman.

Notably, ZEEKR has also enhanced the 009’s AI capabilities. The evolving AI interactive assistant can now predict battery needs based on commuting habits and remind owners to charge proactively.

Furthermore, ZEEKR plans to start deliveries of the new Zeekr 009 to buyers in China next week, with the RHD versions set to hit Hong Kong roads later this year. Pricing for the new ZEEKR 009 starts at RMB 439,000 (around $60,346) in China, while the RHD version in Hong Kong will be available from HKD 755,000 (around $96,682). 

ZEEKR’s Launch In International Markets

The launch in Hong Kong is part of Zeekr’s global strategy to expand its presence in international markets. Recently, ZEEKR launched two EV models in Mexico, the ZEEKR 001 and ZEEKR X SUV, priced at 988,000 Mexican pesos (around $54,850) and 799,000 Mexican pesos ($44,350) respectively.
