The global electric vehicle (EV) landscape continues to evolve, with Chinese automaker Zeekr making a strategic and sophisticated entry into the European market through its latest offering, the Zeekr 7X.

Designed at Zeekr’s technology center in Gothenburg, Sweden, the 7X embodies a unique blend of Chinese engineering and European design sensibilities. The SUV is not just another EV, but a carefully crafted mobility solution targeting modern, tech-savvy European families.

Performance That Impresses

The Zeekr 7X showcases its technological prowess through two distinct configurations. The Single-Motor Long Range RWD variant is designed for efficiency, offering an impressive WLTP range of 615 km (382 miles), making it ideal for extended travel. 

For those seeking excitement, the Dual-Motor Performance AWD delivers breathtaking acceleration, going from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, proving that electric SUVs can combine practicality with exhilarating performance.

Cutting-Edge Technology

Packed with advanced features, the Zeekr 7X stands out in the competitive EV market. Its 800V electrical architectureallows for ultra-fast charging, with 360kW chargers enabling a 10-80% recharge in just 13 minutes to 16 minutes.

Inside the cabin, a 16-inch HD touchscreen powered by the Qualcomm 8295 Snapdragon chip offers an immersive digital experience, enhanced by the ZeekrGPT voice assistant. Optional features, like an augmented reality head-up display, elevate the driving experience, blending cutting-edge technology with everyday practicality.

The Zeekr 7X caters to a range of customer needs with two battery configurations. Premium models come equipped with a durable 75kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, while the Long Range and Performance models feature a 100kWh Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC) battery, offering extended range and superior performance.

To further enhance the ownership experience, Zeekr provides comprehensive warranties: a 5+5 year vehicle warrantycovering up to 200,000 km and an eight-year battery warranty. Over-the-air updates ensure continuous software enhancements, reflecting Zeekr’s commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction.

Market Entry Strategy

Zeekr has a strategic approach to launching the 7X, targeting three Nordic markets initially: the Netherlands, Sweden, and Norway. With a starting price of €52,990 for the single-motor premium trim in the Netherlands, the vehicle is positioned competitively. Early adopters will also enjoy complimentary upgrade packages, including enhanced wheels and comfort features, providing added value to initial buyers.

A Brand on the Rise

Since 2021, Zeekr has rapidly established itself in the global EV market, delivering over 400,000 vehicles. The 7X represents a significant milestone in their international expansion strategy, particularly in the European market.
