Xpeng has delivered its 6,000th vehicle in France, marking another milestone for the Chinese automaker as international markets become an increasingly important source of growth.

The milestone comes as Xpeng reported record overseas deliveries in July, with international sales accounting for more than a quarter of its total monthly deliveries.

P7+ marks French delivery milestone

Xpeng said its 6,000th French customer received a P7+ sedan. The vehicle was delivered to Pascal Delelis, a 39-year-old generative AI expert who selected the model after comparing it with other vehicles.

Xpeng entered France in May 2024, initially offering the G9 and G6 electric SUVs. The P7+ has since become an important part of the company’s international expansion.

The sedan originally launched in China in November 2024 before Xpeng introduced it to European consumers at the Paris Motor Show the previous month. An updated version arrived in China in January 2026 and entered Europe the following day, adding an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) option.

The updated P7+ is planned for launch across 36 countries and regions and is already being produced at a facility in Graz, Austria.

Overseas deliveries hit new high

Xpeng’s French milestone comes during a period of rapid growth outside China.

The company delivered 9,700 vehicles overseas in July, a monthly record that represented a 223.33% increase from the same month last year and a 28.77% improvement from June. International deliveries accounted for 25.51% of Xpeng’s total July deliveries, the highest proportion recorded by the company.

From January through July, Xpeng delivered 41,299 vehicles overseas, up 90.31% year over year. International sales represented 20.24% of its 204,004 global deliveries during the period.

Overall deliveries rose 3.57% year over year to 38,027 vehicles in July, although the figure was 5.23% lower than June. For the first seven months of 2026, global deliveries remained down 12.78% from the same period a year earlier.

Xpeng now has more than 1,000 sales outlets worldwide and operates across 60 countries and regions.
