The milestone moves the model beyond its July launch and into customer deliveries in Europe, supporting the Chinese automaker’s effort to expand its presence in overseas mass-market segments.

XPeng’s first Mona L03 customer in France received the SUV from chairman and CEO He Xiaopeng himself at a Paris handover on October 13.
The milestone moves the model beyond its July launch and into customer deliveries in Europe, supporting the Chinese automaker’s effort to expand its presence in overseas mass-market segments.
XPeng announced the delivery on October 20, saying the first French customer chose the Mona L03 because of its advanced driver-assistance features. The company did not identify the specific vehicle variant or clarify which driver-assistance functions are available to customers in France.
He then sat down with French dealers, one of whose group CEOs voiced confidence in XPeng and the L03’s prospects, according to CnEVPost, though no local order numbers were given.
The Mona L03 made its global debut in Munich, Germany, on July 16. It was the first XPeng model to debut in China and Europe at the same time, with sales planned for 64 markets outside China.
Chinese buyers can choose BEV or EREV versions, priced from 123,800 yuan (about $18,420). Europe gets the BEV only, starting at 35,600 euros (about $40,030).

France is the latest market in XPeng’s overseas expansion for the Mona L03. On October 11, the company announced the model’s launch in Australia and New Zealand, where it joined the G6 and X9 in the automaker’s lineup.
XPeng is positioning the Mona L03 as a mass-market offering that brings its driver-assistance technology to more international customers. XPeng said in July that the L03 would be its first overseas model with Google Maps Auto SDK built in, covering mapping, live traffic and route planning.
The start of French deliveries marks a new stage in the model’s European rollout. However, XPeng has not disclosed French order numbers or detailed which driver-assistance features are included in the local version, leaving the scale of initial demand unclear.
