Skywell Unveils BE11 Electric SUV With 304 Miles Of Range For UK Market

The electric vehicle (EV) market in the United Kingdom (UK) is about to experience a major shift with the introduction of the Skywell BE11. This mid-size SUV model was revealed at the Everything Electric Show in Harrogate.

In terms of specs, the front-wheel-drive (FWD) Skywell BE11 comes with two different options of 72kWh or 86kWh NMC lithium-ion battery with an estimated WLTP range of around 248 miles and 304 miles respectively. Moreover, the Skywell BE11 delivers 150 horsepower with an acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in 9.6 seconds and a top speed of around 150 km/h (93 miles) according to IA Electric Vehicles.

For the exterior design, the Skywell BE11 brings several design appearance features including razor LED headlights, sharp contours, and stylish chrome accents. Also, the black skirting of the Skywell BE11 prevents stone chips and scratches with the panoramic “skyroof” added along with Lynx 19-inch diamond-cut wheels and roof rails.

As for the interior, the Skywell BE11 comes with many features such as a 12.8-inch touchscreen display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, heated and ventilated seats, motion-sensing electric rear tailgate, and a Metz sound system with eight speakers. As for the design, the interior comes with a luxurious appearance with leather seats and wood veneer accents.

Currently, the Skywell BE11’s pricing is not revealed but will be competitively priced in contrast to European and Japanese EVs for budget-conscious buyers. As the UK EV market continues to evolve, the introduction of the Skywell BE11 will add more options for potential buyers. The Skywell BE11 will be available for pre-order through the Innovation Automotive (IA) website starting from August 2024.
