As for capabilities, the Mullen PowerUP comes with a 160 kW battery pack, which delivers up to 1 MWh of energy. It can also deliver power through two 60 kW DC fast-charging ports, two 20 kW Level 2 AC chargers, and a pair of 12V jumper terminals according to Mullen.

David Michery, CEO and chairman of Mullen Automotive, expressed the arrival of the PowerUP to address market needs stating, “The feedback on the initial PowerUP concept was overwhelmingly positive, but the market is clearly looking for a zero-emission solution. By leveraging our all-electric Mullen THREE, the new PowerUP delivers recharging at a higher level of scalability and performance while offering zero emissions for both the vehicle and power unit.”

Furthermore, the introduction of the PowerUP comes at a crucial time as the growing EV charging market is seeing trends mobile charging solutions and also requires more mobile chargers for increased accessibility needs. Another mobile charging solution is Yoshi Mobility’s mobile charging unit, which is a zero-emission mobile charger that can charge at 240kW.

With the PowerUP, Mullen Automotive will push the boundaries of EV charging technology while cutting down emissions, promoting environmental sustainability, and accelerate the transition to electric mobility.
