Lucid Launches Its Leasing Program For Lucid Air EV Models In Canada

In a move to expand its electric vehicle (EV) financing strategy, Lucid has announced that its financing and lease arm, Lucid Financial Services, is now offering leasing options for its Lucid Air models in Canada.

Notably, this marks the third country after the United States (U.S.) and Saudi Arabia, where customers can take advantage of Lucid’s flexible payment options for its flagship electric sedan.

“Not all electric vehicles are created equal, and now Canadian customers can experience the unrivaled performance and interior space of Lucid while taking advantage of flexible financing options designed to fit their life,” stated Peter Rawlinson, CEO and CTO of Lucid. “Our online process will also offer a high level of personalized support throughout to ensure the entire experience lives up to the service standard customers have come to expect from Lucid.”

Lucid’s expansion into the Canadian market with its leasing options is a strategic move to make its award-winning electric vehicles more accessible to a wider customer base. According to Lucid, Canadians can now explore 2024 Lucid Air lease options on the company’s website, with 2025 models soon to follow.

In addition to the online leasing options, customers in Canada will also be able to visit Lucid Studios in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver to experience the Lucid Air firsthand and receive personalized support throughout the purchasing process.

The announcement comes as Lucid continues to make strides in scaling its operations and driving demand for the Lucid Air, which is currently the most efficient passenger EV in the world with a 5 miles per kWh range efficiency. The company recently surpassed its Q2 delivery targets for the Air, adding to its momentum as it prepares to launch the highly anticipated Gravity SUV later this year.
