Lucid has announced that its flagship Lucid Air electric vehicle (EV) has earned the highest possible 5-star overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) for the 2025 model year.

According to Polestar, the 5-star safety accolade applies across the entire Lucid Air lineup, including the Pure, Touring, Grand Touring, and high-performance Sapphire variants. Lucid’s achievement in NHTSA’s rigorous crash testing program underscores the company’s relentless focus on engineering vehicles with the most advanced safety systems.
