Jeep has officially unveiled its first and latest battery electric vehicle (BEV), the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S Launch Edition. In addition, Jeep also unveiled the Jeep Wagoneer S Trailhawk Concept in BEV configuration, marking a new milestone for the brand in enhancing its EV lineup.

With a scheduled launch for the fall of 2024 in the U.S. and Canada, the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S Launch Edition arrives with several notable performance and advanced technological features along with modern interior design and sleek aerodynamic exterior design. It will be priced at $71,995 including destination charge.

In terms of the specs, the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S Launch Edition is powered exclusively by a battery-electric drivetrain. For performance, it brings 600 horsepower and 617 lb.-ft. of instant torque. From an acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in an exceptional 3.4 seconds, it also delivers over an estimated 300 miles of range for long adventurous trips.

In regards to its multi-terrain features, the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S Launch Edition possesses the Selec-Terrain traction management system. This brand-exclusive system provides five distinct drive modes: Auto, Sport, Eco, Snow, and Sand. Depending on the driver’s weather and road conditions, the Wagoneer S will have the right setting in its Selec-Terrain traction management system to ensure composed and functional traction on any terrain.

The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S also prioritizes charging convenience with its 400-volt, 100-kilowatt-hour battery pack as well as charging from 20% to 80% in 23 minutes with a DC fast charger. It also comes with a 48-amp Level 2 home charger or public charging credits through Free2move Charge, which is Stellantis’ comprehensive charging ecosystem.

The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S Launch Edition also has a distinctive design on its exterior with sleek and aerodynamic design cues as well as premium accents. Notable exterior design aspects of the Wagoneer S also include elegant black cues and a reimagined seven-slot illuminated grille. Other standard design cues include 20-inch wheels and a standard dual-pane panoramic sunroof.

As for the interior, the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S Launch Edition has a tech-integrated cabin that comes comfortable while luxurious. With more than 45 inches of usable screen space, the interior also features a segment-exclusive interactive front passenger screen, premium heated and ventilated seats, and a segment-exclusive 19-speaker, 1,200-watt McIntosh audio system.

The interior also has a full suite of customizable LED lighting with daytime or nighttime settings with direct ambient lighting selectable up to 64 selectable colors, bringing an immersive driving experience with a touch of technological sophistication.

Significantly, the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S Launch Edition also comes with over 170 standard safety features made to provide a safe driving experience while ensuring collision avoidance. Notably, the safety features include Active Driving Assist, Intersection Collision Assist, Drowsy Driver Detection, Traffic Sign Recognition, and Surround View camera. Overall, the safety features will prioritize driver protection and bring peace of mind.

The Jeep Wagoneer S Trailhawk Concept is not just an electric vehicle; it’s a true Jeep SUV through and through. Despite the specs not being revealed, it comes with a battery-electric powertrain while promising uncompromised performance, instantaneous torque, and unmatched 4xe capability.

For its rugged and off-road capabilities, it also comes in an enhanced Selec-Terrain system with Rock mode and a driver-selectable electronic rear axle locker. In addition, it has ugged 31.5-inch all-terrain tires for optimal traction and stability during challenging off-road conditions.

As for its design, it has an appearance of an bold front and rear design to its distinctive seven-slot illuminated grille with the special-edition Banner exterior color as well as heavy-duty tow hooks and a laser-cut aluminum roof rack. For the interior, it comes wrapped in a Mantis Green colorway in non-leather synthetic material, accented with meteorite-inspired real stone veneer.

There is also a redesigned octagonal steering wheel with a tactical-inspired grip section at the 9 and 3 o’clock positions and a rounded profile for better maneuverability in any terrain. Keep in mind, Jeep has yet to announce the availability of the Trailhawk edition
