Unveiled ahead of the LA Auto Show, the IONIQ 9 stands out with its unique “Relaxation Seats” feature, particularly in the second row, which can swivel and recline, creating an interactive space for passengers. In detail, Hyundai has brought a concept car-like interior to production, allowing occupants to face each other and enjoy a lounge-like atmosphere when the vehicle is stationary.

Built on Hyundai’s E-GMP architecture, the IONIQ 9 comes equipped with a massive 110.3 kWh battery, delivering an impressive WLTP-projected range of 620 km (around 335 miles). The vehicle offers multiple motor configurations, with the Performance AWD model capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in a swift 5.2 seconds.

Charging is equally impressive, with the ability to replenish from 10% to 80% in just 24 minutes using a 350kW charger. In a notable move, the IONIQ 9 will be one of the first non-Tesla vehicles to debut with a NACS (North American Charging Standard) port.
