The Neolun Concept took the spotlight as Genesis’ first full-size electric SUV concept, embodying the brand’s ideology of blending futuristic innovation with the warmth of Korean hospitality. The concept EV is named after the Greek “neo” for new and the Latin “luna” for the moon. The Neolun Concept also indicates Genesis’ vision for the future of automotive design and electric technology.

Chief Creative Officer Luc Donckerwolke described the Neolun Concept as inspired by Korea’s iconic moon-shaped porcelain jars, embodying timeless design and sophisticated craftsmanship. The concept’s exterior features reductive design principles, with clean lines and B-pillarless coach doors that portray seamless access to the spacious interior. These coach doors enhance passenger convenience and accentuate the EV’s open interior space.

In regards to the interior, the Neolun Concept presents a modern reinterpretation of Korea’s hospitality culture. This includes a radiant heating system inspired by the traditional “ondol” method. This system ensures efficient heating and a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of Korean homes. The interior design additionally promotes luxury with cashmere upholstery and vintage-inspired leather, creating a relaxing atmosphere for you.

Moreover, completing the luxurious interior is an advanced sound system devised to imitate the acoustic experience of a concert hall, offering exceptional audio quality for you to enjoy.
