The flagship model debuts with an advanced AI-powered cockpit.

Geely Galaxy will open pre-sales for its new six-seat M9 hybrid SUV on August 23 in Shanghai, aiming at China’s competitive large SUV segment. The flagship model debuts with an advanced AI-powered cockpit, a 1,500 km range, and performance to rival leading hybrid luxury SUVs.
The M9 will be the first production vehicle to feature Agent OS, an intelligent cockpit co-developed by Geely and Chinese AI startup StepFun. Powered by StepFun’s Step-Audio large language model, Agent OS offers a more natural, more knowledgeable, and more emotional new cockpit interaction experience, according to CNEV Post. The system enables end-to-end voice control, integrating navigation, entertainment, and vehicle functions in one seamless interface.
Unveiled at the 2025 World AI Conference last month, Agent OS is being positioned as the industry’s first AI-driven cockpit. The M9 also incorporates Geely’s G-Pilot H5 driver assistance suite, providing mid-range autonomous driving features.

Built on Geely’s Electric Architecture (GEA) and powered by the Leishen EM super hybrid system, the M9 delivers a 1,500+ km range with fuel consumption as low as 4.8 L/100 km in low-battery mode. Despite its large size, the luxury SUV can sprint from 0–100 km/h in 4.5 seconds.
Launched globally in Milan this May, the M9 will compete against models like the Aito M9, Denza N9, and Li Auto L9. Geely Galaxy has been seeing some serious momentum, with its January–July sales rising 253.77% year-on-year, totaling 643,451 units.
