The Aion RT, designed with a “Velociraptor” concept, contains an aerodynamic profile with a drag coefficient of 0.208Cd. Available in seven exterior colors including purple, beige, black, white, silver, gray, and red, the sedan measures 4,865mm in length, 1,875mm in width, and 1,520mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,775mm.

Built on GAC’s AEP 3.0 pure electric platform, the vehicle offers two range options. The entry-level 520km range variants feature a 150kW front electric motor producing 240Nm of torque, paired with a 55.1kWh battery pack. The higher-end 650km range models come with a more powerful 165kW motor and larger 68.1kWh battery pack. Performance is impressive across the lineup, with 0-100km/h acceleration times of 7.5 and 7.7 seconds respectively.

The Aion RT’s charging capabilities are equally noteworthy. Using 3C fast charging, the battery can be replenished from 30% to 80% in just 18 minutes. The 520km variants can gain 160km of range in a 10-minute charge, while the 650km models can add 200km in the same time.
