Fiat has unveiled the Giorgio Armani Edition of its 500e electric vehicle (EV) model at the Los Angeles Auto Show, transforming the compact EV into a mobile fashion accessory that celebrates the brand’s 125-year legacy
The special edition 500e is more than just a car—it’s a carefully curated fashion statement that embodies the essence of Italian craftsmanship. Fiat describes the vehicle as a car “to be worn, not driven,” blending the worlds of automotive and high-end fashion.
The Armani Edition of the Fiat 500e is a true standout with its unique color options and stylish accents. It is offered in two exclusive hues: “Dark Green Micinalized,” a malachite-inspired metallic green, and “Ceramic Greige,” a sophisticated gray-beige blend. The vehicle also contains custom 17-inch wheels adorned with the Armani GA logo, adding a touch of elegance to its exterior.
Inside, the Armani Edition continues to impress with its luxurious touches. The seats feature Chevron-stitched faux leather upholstery, while the headrests are embroidered with the Armani logo. A laser-cut wooden dashboard adds a refined finish, and the signature Armani branding is seamlessly integrated throughout the cabin, creating an atmosphere of understated luxury.
While the Armani Edition’s design steals the show, the vehicle retains the core technical specifications of the standard 500e. It delivers 117 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque, ensuring a responsive driving experience. The 42-kWh battery provides an EPA-estimated range of 149 miles, making the Armani Edition both a stylish and practical choice for those seeking an EV.
This is not Fiat’s first foray into fashion-forward vehicles. The brand has previously collaborated with Gucci in 2011 and created one-off editions with Bulgari, Kartell, and Armani in 2020. However, the Giorgio Armani Edition marks the first widely available fashion-inspired 500e.
Fiat has gone to extraordinary lengths to ensure an authentic experience, including a custom acoustic vehicle alert system with a melody titled “The Sound of 500”, a JBL audio system with preset listening experiences, a 10.3-inch touchscreen, and Level 2 driver-assistance technologies.
Unveiled during the Los Angeles Auto Show, the vehicle was strategically launched in a city Fiat describes as a “global leader in electric vehicles and fashion.” Aamir Ahmed, head of Fiat’s North American brand, emphasized the collaboration as “the finest expression of Italian design.”
While exact pricing remains undisclosed, the Armani Edition will be built at the Mirafiori plant in Turin, Italy, adding to its authentic Italian pedigree. The vehicle is set to be a collector’s item for automotive and fashion enthusiasts alike.
