CUPRA Is Offering UK Buyers The Chance To Try The CUPRA Born Risk-Free, Alongside Free Home Charging Solutions And Discounted Charging Miles

CUPRA has unveiled a new initiative aimed at easing the transition to electric vehicles (EVs) for the United Kingdom (UK), where the company is now offering a unique three-month return option for its all-electric CUPRA Born.
According to Cupra, the centerpiece of the company’s new strategy is the “Love Me or Leave Me” scheme, which allows retail buyers to purchase a CUPRA Born with the option to return it after three months if they find that EV ownership doesn’t suit their lifestyle. This UK-first offer is designed to provide peace of mind for potential buyers who are interested in electric vehicles but may still have reservations about making the switch.
Marcus Gossen, Director of SEAT and CUPRA UK, emphasized the innovative nature of this offer: “It is safe to say that the new scheme is ground-breaking and will give many drivers who have considered an electric car the impetus to make the leap.”
Under the terms of the offer, if a buyer decides to return the vehicle within three months, CUPRA will refund the full deposit, subject to conditions such as damage and excess mileage. This offer is available on qualifying vehicles from CUPRA’s current stock and applies to all CUPRA Born models, including the high-performance CUPRA Born VZ.

To further sweeten the deal, CUPRA has partnered with two key players in the EV ecosystem:
David Watson, CEO of Ohme, commented on the partnership stating, “This is an exciting and innovative new scheme from CUPRA and Ohme looks forward to continue to work with them as their official home EV charging partner as well as with OVO to bring low cost, low CO2 EV motoring to more drivers.”

The CUPRA Born, the focus of this offer, is an EV that combines efficiency with dynamic handling. The range includes the high-performance CUPRA Born VZ, which contains a 326 PS (321 horsepower) electric powertrain and can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 5.6 seconds.
This initiative from CUPRA represents a bold move in the electric vehicle market, directly addressing one of the key barriers to EV adoption: consumer uncertainty. By offering a “try before you commit” option, along with solutions for two major EV concerns concerning charging costs and home charging infrastructure, which CUPRA is positioning itself as a forward-thinking player in the transition to electric mobility.
As more EV incentives are seen in the market, offers like CUPRA’s could become increasingly common as manufacturers seek to attract hesitant consumers to the EV market. This approach not only reduces the perceived risk for potential buyers but also demonstrates confidence in the EVs, potentially setting a new standard for customer-centric initiatives in the EV sector.
