Cadillac has launched the online configurator for the 2027 Optiq, giving shoppers their first detailed look at pricing, trim levels, colors, and customization options for the updated electric crossover. The configurator arrives ahead of production later this year and provides a clearer picture of how Cadillac is positioning its entry-level EV as competition intensifies in the premium electric crossover segment.

The 2027 Optiq starts at $52,695, including destination charges, while the performance-focused Optiq-V tops the lineup with a starting price of $69,295.

Cadillac expands Optiq lineup with new trims and customization options

The configurator reveals a broad range of configurations spanning Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury, and Premium Sport trims, each available in both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive layouts, according to GM Authority.

Pricing for the 2027 Optiq lineup includes:

  • Luxury RWD: $52,695
  • Luxury AWD: $56,195
  • Sport RWD: $53,295
  • Sport AWD: $56,795
  • Premium Luxury RWD: $54,995

  • Premium Sport RWD: $55,495
  • Premium Sport AWD: $58,995

Cadillac also added four new exterior paint colors for the 2027 model year, giving buyers more opportunities to personalize their vehicles.

The Optiq remains positioned as Cadillac’s gateway EV, sitting below the larger Lyriq in the brand’s electric lineup.

Cadillac refines EV branding as electric portfolio grows

Beyond new colors and packages, Cadillac is making a subtle shift in how it markets its electric vehicles.

For 2027, the company has removed torque-rating badges from the Optiq and other EVs in its portfolio. The move simplifies vehicle branding and places greater emphasis on trim levels, design, and feature content rather than powertrain-specific naming conventions.

The configurator also highlights Cadillac’s continued expansion of its V-Series performance lineup through the Optiq-V, which brings a sportier character to the compact EV segment while helping the luxury brand attract enthusiasts transitioning to electric vehicles.

The Optiq plays an increasingly important role in Cadillac’s broader electrification strategy. As the company works toward an all-electric future, the crossover serves as an accessible entry point for buyers seeking premium design, modern technology, and luxury features in a smaller package than the Lyriq.

Production of the 2027 Optiq is expected to begin later this year, and the newly launched configurator allows prospective buyers to explore specifications and pricing before vehicles begin arriving at dealerships.
