The 2026 Escalade IQ and Escalade IQL have officially arrived at regional dealerships, making the Middle East the second market outside North America after South Korea to receive the flagship electric SUVs.
The Cadillac Escalade IQ and its extended variant, the Cadillac Escalade IQL, are now available across Middle Eastern markets. Cadillac emphasized the region’s importance, noting its long-standing demand for large, premium SUVs.
According to Managing Director Omar Elkhishin, the new models build on the Escalade’s legacy of size, presence, and capability while introducing electrification and advanced technology. The launch signals Cadillac’s intent to maintain its dominance in the full-size luxury SUV segment as it transitions to EVs, according to GM Authority.
Both models are imported from GM’s Factory Zero plant in Michigan and are offered in multiple trims, including Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury, and Premium Sport, tailored to regional preferences.

The Escalade IQ lineup brings top-tier specs aimed at premium buyers. A dual-motor all-wheel-drive system delivers up to 750 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque in Velocity Max mode, while a massive 205 kWh battery enables a driving range of up to 460 miles on a single charge.
Cadillac claims the Escalade IQ offers one of the longest ranges in the electric SUV segment, while the IQL variant focuses on maximizing cargo capacity and second-row passenger space—key priorities in the Middle East market.
With a full suite of advanced safety, convenience, and infotainment features, the models represent Cadillac’s most technologically advanced SUVs to date.
As General Motors accelerates its global EV expansion, the Escalade IQ’s arrival in the Middle East highlights the brand’s strategy to bring high-end electric vehicles to markets where large luxury SUVs remain in strong demand.
