According to GM Korea, the Escalade IQ will arrive as the most iconic and technologically advanced Cadillac model ever sold locally.

General Motors has confirmed that the all-electric 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQ will officially debut in South Korea this November, marking Cadillac’s first-ever electric SUV introduction in the country. The move highlights GM’s EV strategy in Asia, bringing the brand’s flagship luxury SUV into one of the region’s most advanced EV markets.
According to GM Korea, the Escalade IQ will arrive as the most iconic and technologically advanced Cadillac model ever sold locally. The all-electric SUV combines the Escalade’s signature design with the brand’s next-generation Ultium platform, aiming to redefine full-size luxury in the electric era.
The Escalade IQ is also set to introduce GM’s Super Cruise hands-free driving system to South Korea for the first time. This semi-autonomous feature will be compatible with approximately 23,000 kilometers (12,242 miles) of local highways and arterial routes, expanding Cadillac’s footprint in connected mobility, according to GM Authority.
Powered by a massive 205 kWh battery, the Escalade IQ delivers an estimated range of up to 739 kilometers (459 miles) per charge, the longest EV range currently available in the Korean market. Its dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup produces up to 750 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque, supported by ultra-fast charging capabilities for rapid top-ups during long drives.

Cadillac Korea confirmed that the Escalade IQ will enter the market in limited quantities for 2026, with a gradual rollout planned through local dealerships. Pre-purchase consultations will be available nationwide, targeting early adopters seeking high-performance electric luxury.
“Cadillac announced that it will launch the Escalade IQ, a fully electric version of its flagship SUV, in Korea in November,” the company stated. “The new Escalade IQ inherits the iconic heritage of Cadillac, combining cutting-edge electrification technology with the elegance of a full-size SUV.”
The Escalade IQ’s arrival signals a new phase for Cadillac’s regional electrification strategy, setting the stage for broader EV adoption in South Korea’s luxury vehicle segment.
