Cadillac Brings 615-HP Lyriq-V to Australia and New Zealand

Cadillac has officially launched the 2027 Lyriq-V in Australia and New Zealand, bringing the brand’s first all-electric V-Series model to both markets.

Right-hand-drive Lyriq-V gets market-specific changes

The Oceania-specification Lyriq-V uses the same right-hand-drive configuration introduced for Japan earlier this year. Cadillac has also made several changes for the regional version, including larger side mirrors and exclusive interior upholstery materials.

The Lyriq-V uses a dual-motor electric all-wheel-drive powertrain and a 92 kWh battery pack. Cadillac estimates 471 km (293 miles) of range on the WLTP combined cycle, according to GM Authority.

GM Australia & New Zealand Acting Managing Director Greg Rowe described the launch as an important step for Cadillac’s performance lineup in the region.

“Lyriq-V is a landmark vehicle for Cadillac in Australia and New Zealand: it brings the V-Series badge into the electric era for the first time, and delivers the immediacy, precision and drama our customers expect from a performance Cadillac.”

The Lyriq-V is also positioned as the fastest Cadillac when Velocity Max mode is activated. Its 459 kW output and 880 Nm of torque give the crossover substantially more performance focus while retaining the Lyriq’s technology and everyday usability.

Pricing starts below US equivalent

The 2027 Lyriq-V is now available to view through Cadillac’s Australian and New Zealand websites and at the brand’s Experience Centers in Sydney and Auckland.

Australian pricing starts at AUD 99,000, which the source estimates at approximately US$70,900. In New Zealand, the Lyriq-V starts at NZD 109,000, or about US$62,500 based on the exchange rates cited by the source.

The vehicle includes a five-year vehicle warranty and Premium roadside assistance. Its battery pack is covered for eight years or 160,000 km (99,419 miles).
