According to Automobili Pininfarina, the Battista Targamerica is a unique and roofless variant of the company’s flagship Battista model. Inspired by the 1986 Ferrari Testarossa Spider, this electric hypercar features a striking silver and blue color scheme with black accents. The EV’s name, co-curated with the client, references its open-top design and American destination.

Paolo Dellachà, CEO of Automobili Pininfarina, expressed the importance of this delivery stating, “This is a seminal moment, delivering our first coach-built one-off vehicle to a client. Battista Targamerica demonstrates the infinite possibilities our highly skilled team can design and engineer.”

Moreover, the Battista Targamerica comes with 1,900 horsepower, 2,340 Nm of torque, and the ability to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in less than two seconds. With a top speed exceeding 300 km/h (186 mph), it shares the title of Italy’s most powerful road-legal car with the standard Battista model.

As it exemplifies Automobili Pininfarina’s “Dream Cars. Made Real.” philosophy, the Battista Targamerica features numerous bespoke elements. A standout addition is a custom-designed cigar humidor integrated between the seats, showcasing the company’s goal of tailoring every aspect of the EV to the client’s lifestyle.

The creation of this masterpiece involved extensive collaboration between Automobili Pininfarina’s design and engineering teams. The carbon fiber bodywork and monocoque were re-engineered to accommodate the open-top design while maintaining the vehicle’s exceptional performance.

For the interior, the Battista Targamerica appears in supple tan leather upholstery, a contrast black leather steering wheel and dashboard, and bespoke headrests with an embossed Automobili Pininfarina logo. A tailored luggage set completes the interior, finished in matching tan leather.

Interestingly, Automobili Pininfarina has been making headlines recently with its revelation of its B95 Gotham electric hypercar for this year’s Monterey Car Week to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the fan-favorite DC superhero, Batman. With the latest addition of the Battista Targamerica, the company is set to attract more viewers at the Monterey Car Week.
