Ford is overhauling the 2027 Mustang Mach-E lineup by making the extended-range battery pack standard across every trim and debuting an off-road-inspired Trail Package.

Every 2027 Mustang Mach-E now ships with Ford’s extended-range battery architecture, providing 88 kWh of usable energy on Select and Premium models and 91 kWh on the performance-focused GT.
Alongside the battery shift, dual-motor models receive a redesigned secondary front drive unit that cuts manufacturing costs without sacrificing output, according to Ford Authority.
On the software side, every 2027 model bundles a complimentary one-year trial of both the Ford Connectivity Package and the Ford Security Package, with buyers also given a one-time purchase option.
Hands-free BlueCruise 1.5 driving is bundled for one year and 90 days as standard equipment on the GT trim, and for the same duration when buyers add the optional Tech Pack Lite on Select or Premium Tech Pack on Premium.

Buyers stepping up to the Select eAWD trim can add the new $2,295 Trail Package, which carries an overall MSRP of $45,290. The package raises the passive suspension by 10mm up front and 15mm at the rear, and fits Michelin CrossClimate 2 tires on the same 19-inch High Gloss Dark Carbonized Gray wheels and steering rack found on the Mustang Mach-E Rally.
Standard Trail equipment includes 400W Pro Power Onboard—which is optional on Premium and GT trims—plus factory-activated BlueCruise 1.5 that must be specified at the time of order. Available add-ons include an Interior Protection Package with all-weather mats and a cargo liner, as well as Thule clamp-on roof crossbars built for bikes and kayaks.
With order banks opening in late October, customer deliveries of the 2027 Mustang Mach-E Trail are scheduled for the first quarter of 2027, while the entry-level Select RWD opens at $39,995 before the $2,045 destination fee.
