Pre-sales For The Volkswagen GTX And Cargo 4MOTION Models Starting At August 20 With The Pure And Freestyle Models Available From September 3

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has announced the expansion of the ID. Buzz electric vehicle (EV) model range with several new trims. This includes the introduction of entry-level models, an all-wheel-drive (AWD) Cargo version, and the high-performance ID. Buzz GTX.
The most significant addition to the lineup is the ID. Buzz Pure and ID. Buzz Freestyle, will serve as the new entry-level model. These trims will be powered by a 125 kW (170 horsepower) rear-mounted motor and a smaller 59 kW battery pack, offering an estimated range of around 330 km (205 miles). Also, the ID. Buzz Freestyle will be the most affordable version, with a base price of just 49,998 euros ($55,549).
In the commercial segment, Volkswagen has unveiled the ID. Buzz Cargo 4MOTION, the most powerful Volkswagen commercial EV to date. Equipped with an electric AWD system, the ID. Buzz Cargo 4MOTION boasts a remarkable 250 kW (340 horsepower) of system power and a towing capacity of up to 1,800 kg (3,968 lbs). This model is designed to cater to the needs of businesses, offering both strong performance and increased hauling capabilities.
Furthermore, Volkswagen is introducing the ID. Buzz GTX, available in both standard and long-wheelbase versions. Powered by a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup, the ID. Buzz GTX produces a staggering 250 kW (340 horsepower) of power, enabling a 0 to 60 mph acceleration time of just 6.1 seconds for the short-wheelbase variant. The long-wheelbase model takes a mere 6.5 seconds to reach the same speed. These top-of-the-line models also feature unique exterior and interior styling elements to further distinguish them from the standard ID. Buzz.

Recently, Volkswagen also revealed its 2025 Volkswagen ID.Buzz for the United States (U.S.) market. With two trims available in the Pro S and pro S Plus, this particular EV model will also comes with a 1st Edition that is available at launch only.
The new ID. Buzz trims are set to hit the market in the coming months, with pre-sales for the GTX and Cargo 4MOTION models starting today, August 20. The Pure and Freestyle models will be available for online ordering and configuration from September 3.
