Tesla’s Exclusive Promotion Is Available For New Mode Y Orders Only And Can Be Combined With Other Offers In Europe
Tesla has launched a limited-time promotion in Europe offering one full year of free Supercharging for customers who purchase and take delivery of a new Model Y electric vehicle (EV) by the end of 2024.
In details of Tesla’s latest promotion, it is only applicable to new Model Y orders and not used vehicles sold by the company. While Tesla will cover the base charging costs, customers will still be responsible for any “idle fees” or other additional charges.
The free Supercharging offer can be combined with other ongoing promotions in the region, such as preferred interest rates, referral credits, and inventory discounts. However, there are some caveats – the free Supercharging is tied to the specific VIN and the named first driver receiving the vehicle, and cannot be transferred to another person or vehicle.
Notably, the Model Y has been a resounding success for Tesla in Europe, frequently topping the sales charts across the continent. The offer of free Supercharging for a year is likely aimed at maintaining that momentum and clearing the way for the upcoming Model Y refresh, known internally as “Project Juniper.”
Based on sightings of camouflaged prototypes in the United States (U.S.), Europe, and China, the refreshed Model Y is expected to feature updates to the front and rear ends, and may even include a front bumper camera.
With Tesla targeting a record-breaking 515,000 deliveries in Q4 of 2023, the free Supercharging promotion is a strategic move to incentivize European customers and help the company achieve its ambitious year-end goals.
Tesla’s free Supercharging offer is a savvy strategy to boost sales and customer satisfaction in Europe as the company prepares for a refreshed Model Y, ensuring continued dominance in the EV market as it approaches its record-breaking delivery targets.
