Polestar 4 Has Now Launch In the U.S. For $54,900

Polestar has announced its Polestar 4 is now available in the United States (U.S.) electric vehicle (EV) market. After much anticipation for its arrival, you can now get the Polestar 4 for a starting price of $54,900.

The Polestar 4 combines the aesthetics of a coupe with SUV functionalities, showcasing a new blend offering of SUV coupe to the EV market. Drawn from inspirations from the company’s concept vehicles, the Polestar 4 contains innovative features that set it apart from the models in its electric lineup as a premium and performative SUV.

Gregor Hembrough, Head of Polestar North America, expressed his excitement about the official launch of the Polestar 4 in the U.S., stating, “Polestar 4 confidently enters the premium performance class within the D-SUV segment. Our SUV coupe’s innovative design offers generous interior space and a stunning appearance. Coupled with upcoming Polestar 3 deliveries this summer, we now offer two dynamic SUV options for North American customers.”

In terms of features, the Polestar 4 comes with 20-inch Aero alloy wheels, a panoramic glass roof, adaptive cruise control, a 360 parking camera with a 3D view, an energy-saving heat pump, e-latch doors, wireless phone charging, an 8-way electrical driver, and 6-way electrical passenger seats according to Polestar

You can also choose between several options in Polestar 4’s various packages. To start off, the Pilot Pack comes standard on the Long range Dual motor trim with Pilot Assist and Lane Change Assist. The Pro Pack presents upgraded wheels, seat belts with a Swedish gold stripe, and Swedish gold valve stem caps. As for the Plus Pack, it adds a graphical head-up display, electronic reclinable rear seats, and a Harman Kardon premium audio system.

If you are looking for an enhanced performance Polestar 4 trim, the Performance Pack delivers all that with its improved driving dynamics with 22-inch Performance forged wheels and Brembo 4-piston brake calipers in a Swedish gold colorway.

Regarding the performance features of the Polestar 4, the Long range Dual motor trim has an acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds with 544 horsepower, 506 lb-ft of torque, and 270 miles of range. Meanwhile, the basic Long range Single motor trim delivers an acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in 6.9 seconds with 272 horsepower, 253 lb-ft of torque, and an estimated 300 miles of range.

As the Polestar 4 is prepared to overtake the U.S. EV market and compete with the latest releases like Tesla’s Model 3 Performance, the company is reinforcing its EV offerings with improved performance and design through innovative technology. Furthermore, Polestar is expanding its manufacturing production in South Korea beginning in 2025.
