Polestar has launched the updated 2027 Polestar 4 Coupe in South Korea, introducing a revised model name, chassis upgrades, and lower pricing on select trims.
The Swedish EV maker removed the “SUV” designation from the vehicle’s name, repositioning it as a coupe while enhancing ride and handling characteristics and reducing prices by up to 2 million won ($1,450) for some variants.
The refreshed model is now offered in three trims: Rear Motor, Dual Motor, and Dual Motor Performance. Polestar said the Rear Motor and Dual Motor variants now come standard with a chassis package that includes high-capacity passive dampers, revised springs, anti-roll bars, polyurethane rebound stops, and steering improvements, according to Korea Times.
The updates were designed to improve both everyday ride comfort and driving dynamics. Design changes are relatively subtle but help distinguish the updated model. Exterior emblems now feature contrasting colors rather than body-color finishes, with black emblems fitted to Storm and Electron paint options and grey emblems used on Snow, Magnesium, and Space finishes.
Inside, Polestar added a black emblem to the panoramic glass roof and introduced trim-specific seat belt and rotary knob accents. The standard interior now features Charcoal bio-attributed MicroTech upholstery paired with Zinc-colored decor elements, reinforcing the vehicle’s premium positioning.

Pricing starts at 66.9 million won for the Rear Motor variant, while the Dual Motor trim now starts at 69.9 million won following a 2 million won price reduction. Polestar also lowered the cost of its Nappa leather package from 4.5 million won to 4 million won.
Customers can add the Plus Pack for 6 million won, bundling premium features including a Harman Kardon sound system, pixel LED headlights, powered rear reclining seats, and a hands-free tailgate.
Performance remains one of the Polestar 4 Coupe’s key selling points. The dual-motor configuration produces up to 400 kW (544 hp), enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint in 3.8 seconds. The vehicle is powered by a 100-kWh cell-to-pack lithium-ion battery and supports DC fast charging at up to 200 kW.
“The 2027 Polestar 4 Coupe reflects Korean customers’ strong interest in high-performance EVs and their preference for premium options,” said Ham Jong-sung, managing director of Polestar Korea.
