Lynk & Co Launches Its First All-Electric Z10 Flagship Sedan

Swedish-Chinese EV startup Lynk & Co has revealed its first fully electric vehicle (EV), the Z10, in a global debut in Gothenburg, Sweden. The Z10 represents Lynk & Co’s entrance into the EV market.

Exceptional Performance

The Z10 sedan comes in a sleek appearance that takes design cues from Lynk & Co’s striking “The Next Day” concept vehicle, combining contemporary and timeless styling elements. Measured at 5028mm x 1966mm x 1468mm with a long 3005mm wheelbase, the Z10 arrives with an imposing bust on the road assisted by its 1.34 golden ratio of width to height.

Moreover, the Z10 is powered by Lynk & Co’s new 800V electrical architecture, where the top dual-motor trim has an acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds. It also comes with an estimated maximum range of over 800 km (500 miles) on a full charge. As for its 800V system, it enables ultra-fast charging with a 15-minute charge delivering up to 573 km (356 miles) of extra range.

Spaceship-Inspired Design Cues

Even though this is the first EV model from Lynk & Co, the Z10 stands out with its technological features. Its interior has a spaceship-inspired design that features a huge 15.4-inch touchscreen, augmented reality head-up display, hidden door handles, and a full glass roof.

It also sports RGB lights at the front and rear of the exterior with a LiDAR sensor for autonomous driving functions. Notably, the Z10 also has a high-strength body structure and advanced battery protection that can withstand side impacts up to 65 tons.

Lynk & Co Z10’s Arrival

While pricing has not been concluded, reports suggest the Z10 could start around $27,600 (200,000 yuan) when it launches initially in China in July.  Interestingly, Lynk & Co had previously hinted to launch an EV model to the U.S. after 2024, which could be the Z10. For that expected price point, the Z10 presents itself as an enticing offer with its long-range, blistering performance, sleek design, and innovative features. As a result, the EV market now has another premium EV model for potential buyers to consider.
