Lynk & Co has launched the new 20 compact electric SUV in China, with limited-time pricing starting at 118,800 yuan ($17,620).

The updated EV comes standard with LiDAR, an 800-volt silicon carbide platform and 6C fast charging across all five variants, while Lynk & Co said it received more than 14,663 firm orders within the first hour after launch.

800V platform and 6C charging come standard

The Lynk & Co 20 is an updated version of the Z20, with the automaker dropping the “Z” from the name to align it with the numeric naming used across its other models.

Limited-time prices range from 118,800 yuan to 158,800 yuan, compared with regular prices of 123,800 yuan to 163,800 yuan, according to CNEV Post.

All five variants use an 800-volt silicon carbide platform and support 6C fast charging, with peak charging power of 460 kW. Lynk & Co says the SUV can charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 12 minutes.

The model is available with 61.52-kWh and 70.01-kWh LFP battery packs, providing CLTC range ratings of 545 km (339 miles) and 630 km (391 miles), respectively.

A single rear-mounted motor produces up to 245 kW (329 hp), allowing every version to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.4 seconds.

LiDAR becomes standard across the lineup

Driver assistance is another major change from the Z20. The Lynk & Co 20 comes standard with LiDAR and Geely’s Afari Smart Driving H5 system, which uses 28 sensing units and supports features including parking assistance.

The SUV retains Lynk & Co’s The Next Day design language while growing 35 mm (1.4 inches) in length to 4,495 mm (177 inches). Its wheelbase measures 2,755 mm (108.5 inches).

Inside, the cabin features a digital dashboard, floating central touchscreen and the “Super Eva” AI voice assistant.

The launch comes as Lynk & Co works to address declining sales. The brand delivered 17,027 vehicles in August, down 37.44% year over year but up 3.94% from July. Through the first eight months of the year, cumulative sales reached 177,624 vehicles, down 14.84% year over year. Those figures cover the entire Lynk & Co lineup rather than only its battery-electric models.
