Lucid Reveals Gravity X SUV Concept at Pebble Beach

Lucid Group revealed its Gravity X SUV concept at Pebble Beach. The electric SUV aims to blend premium refinement with off-road capability, designed for both trail adventures and on-road comfort.

The Lucid Gravity X debuted at a private event on the 18th fairway of Pebble Beach Golf Links. The concept will be displayed publicly at the 74th Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on August 17. Lucid’s newest EV is based on the Gravity Grand Touring platform.

Lucid Gravity X’s Adventure-focused design upgrades

“Lucid Gravity has redefined the limits of what an uncompromising SUV can achieve. The Lucid Gravity X concept expands on these core principles to explore new possibilities off the beaten path while showcasing the incredible capabilities of the Lucid Gravity,” said Derek Jenkins, SVP Design and Brand at Lucid.

The Gravity X features raised ride height, widened track, custom wheels, and all-terrain tires to enhance trail performance. Its revised front and rear fascias improve approach and departure angles, while protective skid plates and integrated tow hooks increase off-road durability.

Despite its rugged focus, Lucid maintains a sleek, aerodynamic profile for efficiency, underscoring the SUV’s dual-purpose appeal. “Lucid’s range, power, and versatility make it an ideal vehicle for those adventurers looking to explore further off-road,” added Jenkins.

The Gravity X’s Distinctive styling with California-inspired details

Bold orange accents, brushed metal fascias, and a rugged Astral Drift satin paint finish give the Gravity X a distinctive presence.

Topography maps of Big Sur and Death Valley are etched into the hood of the Gravity X. A closer look shows that Special sill plates and rocker trim mark its Pebble Beach debut. The design draws inspiration from California’s diverse landscapes, creating a visual connection between luxury electric motoring and outdoor exploration.
