Leapmotor T03 Is Priced At €18,900 And The C10 Starts At €36,400 In European Markets

Leapmotor, in partnership with Stellantis, is making significant moves in the European market as the joint venture is launching two affordable electric vehicles (EVs) while teasing an upcoming compact SUV.
Leapmotor and Stellantis have announced the opening of orders for two EVs in Europe: the T03 city car and the C10 SUV. The T03, priced from €18,900 (around $20,990), will be available from the end of September, while the larger C10 SUV, starting at €36,400 (around $40,526), will reach dealerships in October.
These competitive price points aim to make electric mobility more accessible to European buyers, aligning with Stellantis’ strategy to widen its range of affordable EVs and comply with European Union (EU) emission regulations.
The launch comes as part of a unique joint venture, Leapmotor International, in which Stellantis holds a 51% stake. This partnership, formed in October 2023 with a $1.6 billion investment from Stellantis, grants the European automaker exclusive rights to build, export, and sell Leapmotor products outside China.
Initially, both models will be imported from China. However, plans are in place to assemble the T03 at Stellantis’ Tychy plant in Poland, a move that could help avoid potential EU tariffs on Chinese EVs. Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares has hinted at the possibility of manufacturing the C10 in Europe as well, though details remain unconfirmed.

Adding to the excitement, Leapmotor has begun teasing its latest SUV model, the B10. Set to make its official debut at the Paris Auto Show on October 14, 2024, the B10 represents the first EV built on Leapmotor’s new B Platform, featuring the company’s advanced Leap 3.5 Technology Architecture.
The B10 is classified as a compact SUV and is expected to compete with other electric models like NIO’s Onvo L60. While specific powertrain details are yet to be released. Leapmotor has released teaser images showing the B10 in camouflage, revealing thin DRLs under the hood, circular headlamps in the front bumper, and retractable door handles for improved aerodynamics. The EV is estimated to be around 4.5 meters in length.
Leapmotor and Stellantis are rapidly scaling up their operations in Europe. The joint venture aims to establish around 350 sales points globally by the end of 2024, with over 200 stores planned for Europe alone. Currently, Leapmotor is selling its T03 and C10 models in 13 European countries, including France, Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom (UK).
Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares and Leapmotor’s founder, Chairman, and CEO Zhu Jiangming will jointly unveil the B10 at the Paris Auto Show, underscoring the importance of this partnership. The event will also showcase other Leapmotor models, including the C10 midsize SUV and the T03 compact city car.
The upcoming Paris Auto Show will be a crucial moment for Leapmotor and Stellantis, as they showcase their plans and cutting-edge EVs to a European audience eager for innovative and affordable electric mobility solutions.
