California-based Karma Automotive is gearing up to make a splash at this year’s Monterey Car Week, unveiling a series of electric vehicles (EVs) that aim to redefine the ultra-luxury market.

The most intriguing reveal will be the global premiere of Karma’s “GT-UV” Design Study. This model aims to create an entirely new segment, described as a multi-terrain-capable grand tourer with exotic proportions according to Karma Automotive. While details remain scarce, Karma states a four-seater design unseen in the ultra-luxury market.

At the heart of Karma’s showcase is the Kaveya super-coupe, set to debut with its production-ready interior at “The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering” on August 16. This carbon fiber-bodied model, aimed for a 2026 release, delivers up to 1,000 horsepower.

As for the Kaveya’s interior, it is designed in partnership with Bridge of Weir and draws inspiration from alchemy and outer space. It features a blend of gloss black, suede, and leather with metallic accents and arrives with an expected starting price of around $300,000.

Joining these models is the Karma Gyesera, a four-seater sports sedan unveiled earlier this year. With 120 kWh of battery capacity and up to 590 horsepower, the Gyesera is projected to start at around $175,000 when it hits the market, potentially in 2025.

Karma’s President, Marques McCammon, expressed the company’s focus on personalization stating, “Every Karma we build will be shaped to fit the person who is driving it, owning it, and loving it. We’re going to show the world how we create experiences on a very personal level.”

The company’s EV lineup will be showcased across several Monterey Car Week events including The Quail, the Monterey Motorsports Festival, and the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Also, McCammon will host an exclusive private reception for valued clients on August 15.

As Karma Automotive sets its sights on becoming the first American ultra-luxury automaker since the 1930s, all eyes will be on Monterey to see if these bold new EV concepts can live up to the expectations. With production planned at their Moreno Valley, California plant, Karma is betting big on a future where personalization and electric mobility can blend together.
