The debut of the IONIQ 6 N marks Hyundai’s strongest presence yet at Goodwood.

Hyundai has revealed its second high-performance EV, the IONIQ 6 N, at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. With 650 PS and a 0–100 km/h time of just 3.2 seconds, the electric sports sedan brings cutting-edge handling, immersive driver tech, and track-ready features to the forefront of Hyundai’s N performance lineup.
Building on the IONIQ 5 N’s success, the IONIQ 6 N incorporates a 478 kW dual-motor setup, enhanced aerodynamics, and Hyundai’s in-house developed vehicle control software. The new N e-Shift simulates gear changes for a visceral connection to the car, while N Active Sound + adds a customizable auditory layer with selectable sound profiles, according to a press release.
Features like N Grin Boost and N Drift Optimizer fine-tune driving characteristics for track or street use. Drivers also benefit from visual shift cues via N Ambient Shift Light and real-time telemetry through N Track Manager, reinforcing Hyundai’s “Everyday Sportscar” philosophy. With its revamped suspension geometry and stroke-sensing Electronically Controlled Suspension (ECS) dampers, the IONIQ 6 N is engineered for both high-speed stability and daily usability.

The debut of the IONIQ 6 N marks Hyundai’s strongest presence yet at Goodwood. Festivalgoers can see the new EV in action during the July 10 “N Moment” Hillclimb run, alongside the full N lineup including the IONIQ 5 N, RN24, and drift-spec variants.
Visitors to Hyundai’s booth near the start line are treated to an interactive stamp tour, exclusive giveaways, and a premium viewing area. With limited-edition performance parts and a striking new Performance Blue Pearl finish, the IONIQ 6 N reinforces Hyundai’s growing dominance in the high-performance EV space.
