General Motors (GM) is celebrating Veterans Day with a special promotion offering military personnel $1,000 off select electric vehicles (EVs) across its Chevrolet, Cadillac, and GMC brands in the United States (U.S.).

The military appreciation discount applies to a wide range of 2023 to 2025 model-year EVs, including the GMC Hummer EV, Cadillac LYRIQ, Chevrolet Blazer EV, Chevrolet Equinox EV, Chevrolet Silverado EV, and GMC Sierra EV. GM describes this program as “the most inclusive military offer from any car company.”

In detail, the promotion is available to Active Duty members, Reservists, National Guard members, and Military Retirees from all branches of the U.S. military, including the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard. 

To take advantage of the offer, eligible military personnel can visit GM’s Military Appreciation page, select their desired vehicle, and verify their military status through ID.me. Once verified, they will receive an authorization number to use at GM dealerships.

Furthermore, this Veterans Day promotion arrives as GM celebrates a record-breaking quarter, having delivered 32,000 EVs and securing its position as America’s second-largest EV seller. Notably, GM has reached a new major milestone in its EV sales performance since 2016, exceeding 300,000 EVs sold in the U.S. market.
