Ford has offered another glimpse of its upcoming Fathom electric pickup, and a new teaser suggests the affordable EV could feature a panoramic driver display similar to the one found in the latest Ford Expedition.

While the automaker has yet to reveal the truck’s full interior, the teaser provides another clue about the technology buyers can expect when the model enters production in 2027.

Teaser points to large driver display

Ford recently confirmed that the Fathom will come equipped with a large, high-resolution touchscreen, but a newly released teaser appears to reveal an additional display positioned in front of the driver, according to Ford Authority.

A design sketch shown in the teaser resembles the panoramic display used in the current-generation Ford Expedition, spanning the upper portion of the dashboard.

The preview aligns with previously photographed Fathom prototypes, which showed a large central touchscreen beneath heavy camouflage. Although the instrument panel was concealed, the latest teaser suggests Ford may equip the pickup with a wider digital display layout.

The company has not officially confirmed the panoramic display or released additional details about the production interior.

Affordable EV targets mainstream buyers

The Fathom is expected to begin at $28,350 before destination charges, with a mandatory $1,595 destination fee bringing the starting price of the standard-range model to $29,945.

Ford is targeting approximately 300 miles (483 kilometers) of driving range, though the entry-level version is expected to offer a shorter range than higher trims.

The electric pickup is scheduled to enter production in 2027 at Ford’s Louisville Assembly Plant, with order books expected to open early next year.

Ford has also confirmed that the Fathom will launch with integrated Apple Maps and will target value-focused buyers, younger technology-oriented customers, and mainstream drivers looking for an affordable electric pickup with modern digital features.
