Early Cadillac Celestiq EV Listed for $500K Secondhand

One of the earliest 2025 Cadillac Celestiq EVs appears to have surfaced on the resale market, with a Rosewood Metallic example now listed for $500,000. The flagship electric sedan carries a base MSRP of roughly $400,000 before options, suggesting this listing is seeking a notable premium.

The vehicle shows just 668 miles and is described as a one-owner unit with a clean Carfax and listed by Galpin Jaguar Land Rover of Van Nuys.

Cadillac’s hand-built EV flagship

The Celestiq is assembled at GM’s Global Technical Center in Michigan and is positioned as Cadillac’s ultra-luxury halo EV. It delivers an EPA-estimated 303 miles of range from a 111 kWh battery pack and supports DC fast charging at up to 200 kW. Output is rated at 655 horsepower, enabling a 0–60 mph sprint in 3.7 seconds. At 217 inches long, it sits firmly in full-size luxury territory.

Inside, the Celestiq is defined by its 55-inch pillar-to-pillar front display and a 38-speaker audio system. Heated armrests and door panels highlight its bespoke focus. Cadillac has said the model incorporates more than 275 patented and patent-pending technologies and executions.

Given how few have been delivered so far, this could be among the earliest Celestiqs to surface publicly for resale.

Early resale could test market appetite

At a $500,000 asking price, the listing suggests strong perceived exclusivity around the Celestiq’s early production units. Whether the seller secures a premium over MSRP remains to be seen, but the markup highlights the model’s rarity.

The Celestiq represents Cadillac’s attempt to re-enter the ultra-luxury space with a bespoke, low-volume EV that competes more with handcrafted European flagships than mainstream electric sedans.

With only hundreds expected to be built annually, early examples coming to market may offer insight into how the model holds value in the high-end EV segment.
