Dodge Reveals Pricing For 2024 Charger Daytona EV Starting At $59,595

The Dodge Charger Daytona R/T And Scat Pack Models Qualify For The $7,500 Federal Tax Credit When Leased

Dodge has officially announced pricing for its highly anticipated first electric vehicle (EV), the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona EV. The electric muscle vehicle will start at $59,595 for the base R/T model excluding the $1,995 destination charge, with the high-performance Scat Pack trim priced at $73,190.

According to Dodge, the Charger Daytona R/T, equipped with a standard Direct Connection Stage 1 upgrade, delivers 496 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque. Dodge claims a 0 to 60 mph time of 4.7 seconds for this model. The more powerful Scat Pack trim, featuring the Direct Connection Stage 2 upgrade, delivers 670 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque, capable of sprinting from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds.

Both trims come with a 100.5-kWh battery pack, offering an estimated range of 317 miles for the R/T and 260 miles for the Scat Pack. The Charger Daytona EV also supports DC fast charging at up to 183 kW, allowing for a 20% to 80% charge in around 28 minutes.

The 2024 Charger Daytona EV retains many hallmarks of the company’s muscle car heritage including the company’s new Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust system, which emulates the sound and feel of a V8 engine. The vehicle’s design pays homage to classic Dodge models while incorporating modern EV elements.

Standard features include all-wheel drive, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a suite of driver assistance technologies. The Scat Pack model adds performance-oriented features like adaptive dampers and specialized drive modes including Track, Drag, and Custom. There are also selections of different race options including launch control and donut mode.

Matt McAlear, Dodge brand chief executive officer, expressed about the 2024 Dodge Charger lineup stating, “The future of the Dodge brand launches with a two-model 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona two-door lineup that looks, drives, sounds and feels like a Dodge, outperforming the legendary models they replace and delivering the experience the Dodge Brotherhood of Muscle expects.”

In terms of production, the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona EV is set to begin this summer at the Windsor Assembly Plant in Ontario, Canada. The first deliveries are expected by the end of 2024, with four-door models following in early 2025. The 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T and Scat Pack models are also the first Dodge EVs to qualify for full $7,500 federal tax credit when leased.
