The rapid drawdown comes after third-quarter U.S. deliveries nearly tripled to 1,344 vans, up from 460 in the second quarter.

Remaining U.S. dealer stock of the discontinued Chevrolet BrightDrop electric commercial van has shrunk to just 209 unsold vehicles nationwide.
The rapid drawdown comes after third-quarter U.S. deliveries nearly tripled to 1,344 vans, up from 460 in the second quarter.
Current dealership listings split the final 209 vans between 113 long-wheelbase BrightDrop 600 examples and 96 shorter BrightDrop 400 models, comprising 124 front-wheel-drive vans and 85 all-wheel-drive configurations.
Compared with the 2,397 new BrightDrop vans sitting on U.S. lots in June, nationwide availability has dropped by 2,188 vehicles—a contraction of more than 91 percent in four months, according to GM Authority.
That inventory clearance accelerated sharply over the summer. After moving 496 BrightDrop vans in the opening quarter of 2026 and 460 units between April and June, General Motors handed over 1,344 vans during the third quarter.

The late-stage sales rebound arrives roughly a year after GM formally axed the BrightDrop program in October 2025, pointing to slower-than-projected fleet adoption and shifting emissions rules after idling assembly at its CAMI plant in Ingersoll, Ontario, in May 2025.
Originally launched in January 2021 as a standalone GM commercial EV subsidiary, the brand debuted with the EV600 and EV410 vans before rebranding them as the Zevo 600 and Zevo 400 and later folding both Ultium-powered walk-in vans into Chevrolet’s 2025 commercial portfolio.
