The 2025 Chevrolet Blazer EV will be offered in several configurations to cater to a range of preferences and needs including Front-Wheel Drive (FWD), All-Wheel Drive (AWD), Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD), and the SS high-performance trim.

In detail, the FWD model starts at $45,995 and delivers 220 horsepower with 243 lb-ft of torque. While the exact range and availability are yet to be confirmed, this trim is expected to arrive in late 2025.

For those seeking more power, the AWD version starts at $48,995 and delivers an EPA-estimated range of 283 miles, which is an increase from the previous 279 miles. It provides 300 horsepower (up from 288 horsepower) and 355 lb-ft of torque (up from 333). This model is currently available for purchase.

The RWD variant is priced at $56,990 and features an EPA-estimated range of 334 miles, improved from 324 miles. This model delivers 365 horsepower (up from 340 horsepower) and 325 lb-ft of torque. Buyers can place orders for this version now.

For performance enthusiasts, the SS (High-Performance) model starts at $61,995. This variant generates an outstanding 595 horsepower with the Wide Open Watts mode (increased from the previously announced 557). Notably, it accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds and produces 645 lb-ft of torque in Wide Open Watts mode. The SS model is expected to be available in Q1 2025.

All new Blazer EV purchases qualify for the $7,500 federal tax credit, which could potentially lower the effective starting price to $38,495 for the base FWD model.

Enhanced Features and Options

The 2025 model year introduces a variety of enhanced features and improvements. Notably, GM’s Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance is now standard on the SS model and available for the LT and RS AWD variants.

In addition, new Midnight and Sport packages are offered for the LT trim, providing buyers with more customization options. A two-tone roof option is also now available for both the LT and RS models, adding to the vehicle’s aesthetic appeal.

Market Performance and Availability

Interestingly, Chevrolet reports strong market performance for the Blazer EV, with a 52% conquest rate last month, indicating its appeal to customers from rival brands. The expanded lineup and improvements for 2025 are expected to further boost its popularity.

The 2025 Blazer EV’s diverse drivetrain options make it a unique offering in the automotive market, being one of the first vehicles to be available in FWD, RWD, and AWD configurations. This flexibility, combined with the performance capabilities of the SS model, positions the Blazer EV as a strong competitor in the electric SUV segment.

As Chevrolet continues to expand its EV lineup, the improvements to the Blazer EV for 2025 demonstrate the company’s goal toward enhancing its EV offerings and maintaining competitiveness in the EV market.
