The 2026 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Auto Show, commonly known as the Shenzhen Auto Show, is scheduled to open on May 29 at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center.

Xiaomi confirmed that its entire electric vehicle lineup will appear at the upcoming 2026 Shenzhen Auto Show, including the newly launched YU7 GT and the updated YU7 SUV family. The showcase comes as Xiaomi EV intensifies its challenge against Tesla’s Model Y in China’s increasingly competitive EV market while expanding into the premium performance segment.
The 2026 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Auto Show, commonly known as the Shenzhen Auto Show, is scheduled to open on May 29 at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center.
Xiaomi EV recently introduced a new standard version of the YU7 SUV with a starting price of 233,500 yuan ($34,320), lowering entry pricing for the model by 20,000 yuan compared to the previous configuration. The earlier standard YU7 has now been renamed the YU7 Long Range edition.
The pricing strategy appeared aimed directly at Tesla and its Model Y lineup in China, where the electric crossover currently starts at 263,500 yuan.
Alongside the lower-cost variant, Xiaomi EV also launched the new YU7 GT, a higher-performance premium version starting at 389,900 yuan. The vehicle marks Xiaomi’s latest push into the upscale EV segment as the company rapidly broadens its automotive ambitions.
The company’s expanding lineup now includes the SU7 sedan family, the high-performance SU7 Ultra, the YU7 SUV range, and the newly introduced YU7 GT.
Xiaomi EV is expected to place significant attention on the YU7 series during the Shenzhen event as the company attempts to build momentum following strong public interest at the recent Beijing Auto Show.

The Shenzhen Auto Show is expected to feature more than 100 automotive brands and over 1,300 vehicle models across roughly 300,000 square meters of exhibition space, according to organizers. Public access begins on May 30 following a media preview day on May 29.
Several major Chinese EV manufacturers are preparing significant launches and displays for the event.
NIO is expected to showcase its newly launched ES9 flagship SUV while its sub-brand Onvo plans to begin pre-sales for the updated L60 electric SUV during the show’s opening day.
Meanwhile, BYD confirmed that its luxury Yangwang division will also participate with an updated 2026 model lineup.
The Shenzhen Auto Show now stands as one of China’s most important automotive events following the record-breaking Beijing Auto Show earlier this year, highlighting the growing intensity of competition across the country’s EV sector.
