Volkswagen’s 2025 ID.Buzz Reveals Two Trims and One First Edition For The U.S.

Volkswagen has officially revealed its 2025 Volkswagen ID.Buzz electric vehicle (EV) in the United States (U.S.), although it has yet to state when the 2025 Volkswagen ID.Buzz will arrive but the company has revealed its specs for the U.S. market. 

The 2025 Volkswagen ID.Buzz debut in the U.S. will come with two trims, Pro S and Pro S Plus. It will also come with a 1st Edition that is available at launch only. Each trim provides different and unique features that are tailored to distinctive preferences in the U.S. EV market.

In terms of features, the 2025 Volkswagen ID.Buzz comes with a 91 kWh battery and 20-inch wheels. As for the interior, it boasts a 12.9-inch infotainment system, a 5.3-inch ID. Cockpit digital instrument cluster, 30-color ambient lighting, and Park Assist Plus with Memory Parking according to Volkswagen. As for its design, it arrives in a retro design with an oversized logo on the front and an array of color selections including Energetic Orange and Cabana Blue.

For the Pro S trim, it only boasts a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) powertrain with a bench seat that accommodates seven passengers. The Pro S Plus has an RWD or all-wheel-drive (AWD) option with an added head-up display, a 360-degree camera system, and a 700-watt Harman Kardon sound system. However, the Pro S Plus has a capacity smaller than the Pro S, accommodating only six passengers due to an available captain’s chair package option.

As for the 1st Edition, it has either RWD or AWD with a special two-tone paint job exterior. Moreover, it is based on the Pro S Plus trim with extra features including roof rail cross bars, and 1st Edition badging on the exterior. As for the coastal-inspired interior, it possesses heritage-inspired floor mats and special 1st Edition owner’s gifts. Other features include an electrochromic panoramic glass roof, Flexboard, Area View, and convenient sliding doors and tailgate. 

The exact pricing of the 2025 Volkswagen ID.Buzz has not been revealed for the U.S. EV market yet but will be revealed later in the year. As Volkswagen is bringing retro-appearing EVs back into its EV lineup in the U.S., the feelings of nostalgia through its groovy vibes are mixed with the latest and modern EV technology of the 2025 Volkswagen ID.Buzz will bring the U.S. EV market back to the ’60s era.
