The Micro EV Eli ZERO Is Only $11,990 For Urban Commuters in the U.S.

Eli Electric Vehicles (Eli) has taken the wraps off its latest electric vehicle (EV) offering, the Eli ZERO. Priced at $11,990, the Eli ZERO represents a noteworthy hit in the micro-EV market in the United States (U.S.) with its presence already in European and Asian markets. 

Elevating the Micro EV Experience

Despite its small build, the Eli ZERO brings many features that enhance the micro EV driving experience. With a compact size of 4.5 feet wide and 7.4 feet long, the Eli ZERO is still capable of accommodating two passengers with a range of up to 90 miles on a single charge. The charging experience for the Eli ZERO includes 2.5 hours of charging at 220 to 240V wit 24 miles per hour charge and 5 hours at 110 to 120V with 12 miles per hour charge.

The Eli ZERO also comes with useful features including keyless entry and start, power-assisted steering, and an electronic parking brake. As for the interior, the Eli ZERO contains vegan leather seats, a digital driver display, and an optional SONY infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity. In terms of safety features, the Eli ZERO possesses hydraulic electric-powered-assisted disc brakes and MacPherson front struts with an anti-roll bar. 

Through the features that the Eli ZERO offers, the EV model is seemingly only useful for urban areas with conveniently located charging stations at most corners because of its low range. However, with the Eli ZERO having most features that exude a standard driving experience, it will be advantageous in tight urban areas with its small build. 

Transforming Urban Mobility

The Eli ZERO is designed for urban commuters with its compact build for navigating streets in the city. Notably, Eli ZERO’s entry into the U.S. market comes with many upgrades that comply with national safety regulations while appealing to the U.S. market.

Marcus Li, the CEO and founder of Eli Electric Vehicles, expressed the Eli ZERO’s entry into the U.S. market stating, “Introducing the Eli ZERO to the U.S. market, we’re not only riding the wave of an emerging mobility revolution, but also redefining personal vehicles in an innovative way that benefits both traffic and the environment.”

Furthermore, Li further states that the company’s goal is also to positively transform the driving experience for its EV owners in urban areas for a “better utilization of urban space, reduced congestion, ease of parking and ultimately an improved quality of life in cities.”

Pioneering Innovation in Electric Micro-Mobility

Eli’s innovation in the micro-EV industry with the Eli ZERO will certainly make daily urban commutes and travels more convenient and environmentally friendly. With the arrival of the Eli ZERO in the U.S. market, the company’s goal to blend sustainability and urban mobility will bring further exploration to advance the transition to electric mobility. Reservations for the Eli ZERO are now open and is slated for release in Q3 2024.
