Tesla Launch $5,000 Three-Year Bundle With FSD Technology For Model S And X

Tesla has introduced a new three-year subscription bundle for its premium Model S and Model X electric vehicles (EVs). The package, priced at $5,000, combines three of Tesla’s most sought-after features: Full Self-Driving (FSD) Supervised, free Supercharging, and Premium Connectivity.

This strategic initiative arrives as Tesla seeks new ways to market its FSD technology, which has seen fluctuating prices in recent years. As a response from the company, the bundle represents a notable discount compared to purchasing these services separately, potentially saving buyers over $3,000 over the three years.

The FSD feature, which typically costs $8,000 as a one-time purchase or $99 per month, forms the cornerstone of this offer. When combined with Premium Connectivity, which is priced at $10 a month and an estimated value of $30 a month for free Supercharging, the bundle provides substantial value for Model S and X owners.

Tesla’s decision to limit this offer to its high-end models suggests a strategic approach to test market reception before potentially expanding to its more popular Model 3 and Model Y EVs.

Interestingly, the bundle is particularly enticing for those who lease their EVs for three years or frequently use Supercharging services. However, it is worth noting that EVs intended for commercial use are not eligible for this offer.

As this new package displays Tesla’s latest effort to promote its FSD technology with previous initiatives including FSD test drives with every delivery and month-long trials for existing owners, it also arrives after Tesla cut down the price of its FSD package from $12,000 to the current $8,000.
