Tesla’s string of price cuts is continuing with now its electric vehicle (EV) lineup in the U.S. down by $2,000 each. These price cuts were also hit on its Model S and Model X as well.

This strategic move by Tesla comes after many other price cuts from its monthly subscription on its Full Self-Driving program and its discounts of $5,000 on its Model Y trims. Tesla’s Model Y is now $42,990 in the U.S. market, which is at its lowest price point. With these new price points for Tesla’s Model Y, the chance to get one is better than ever.

Among the many price cuts from Tesla, the company is also set to reveal its Q1 earnings on April 23. Depending on Tesla’s earning results, we could see more price cuts or different shifts in strategies for more to come. Moreover, as the company adds more price cuts to its EV lineup, the pressure on other companies to follow along could happen as well. As Tesla navigates its path filled with uncertainties, the effectiveness of these price cuts in increasing sales will have to wait with all of us watching.
