Tesla CEO Elon Musk Revealed The Upcoming Driving Modes Changes For The FSD Program Include Chill, Standard, And Hurry Modes

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has revealed plans for its Full Self-Driving (FSD) program in its electric vehicle (EV) lineup, where the company will introduce new driving modes.

The revelation was first announced after an X user expressed his opinion on Tesla’s FSD Supervised “chill mode” regarding its setting. As a response, Musk has replied to his post stating, “FSD will have chill, standard, and hurry modes.”
As of now, Tesla’s FSD program only possesses three driving modes: chill, average, and assertive. The response from Musk did not specifically address the concerns from the X user’s post but his response does spark speculation about potential changes to the driving experience for Tesla owners on upcoming FSD program updates.

With Tesla’s FSD program undergoing changes after every update to elevate its overall experience, the company recently unveiled new updates with its version 2024.20 software update, which includes Autopilot improvements. Moreover, Tesla’s efforts to improve the FSD program through more training and investment of $10 billion just this year is being noted.
While the specifics of the new driving modes remain unclear, Tesla owners and potential buyers of the FSD program will have to wait for additional details. As Tesla prepares to expand the availability of its FSD software to markets outside the United States, including China, the introduction of new driving modes could sweeten the appeal of the company’s EVs and FSD program to the EV industry.
