Škoda Elroq Possesses An Estimated Range of Up To 560 KM

Škoda Auto is set to make waves in the electric vehicle (EV) market with the introduction of its all-new Elroq, the company’s first all-electric compact SUV. With an innovative design and strong performance, the Škoda Elroq is a package that caters to both urban and suburban drivers.
For the design, the Škoda Elroq showcases the company’s new Modern Solid design language and features a distinctive Tech-Deck Face that replaces the traditional radiator grille with an advanced sensor unit. The EV’s exterior is further sweetened by the sleek LED headlights and a striking four-eyed face design.

As for the performance, the Škoda Elroq provides a range of powertrain options with power outputs spanning from 170 horsepower to 300 horsepower. The top-tier trim delivers an estimated range of up to 560 km (348 miles) on a single charge, positioning the EV as a serious contender in the long-range EV market.

In regards to its charging capabilities, the Škoda Elroq are arrives with DC fast-charging support allowing the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in less than 28 minutes. Moreover, the EV model will be available in four trims: 50, 60, 85, and 85x all in rear-wheel-drive (RWD) with each offering different battery capacities and performance levels to meet diverse buyer needs.
For the interior, there is no compromise on space as it has a generous luggage capacity of up to 1,580 liters, making it practical for various lifestyles. The cabin features a 13-inch infotainment touchscreen, an AR head-up display, and a digital cockpit concept for an enhanced driving experience. Škoda also placed a strong emphasis on sustainability in Elroq’s design, where the interior incorporates eco-friendly materials including Recytitan fiber, made from recycled PET bottles, underlining the company’s commitment to environmental responsibility.
In addition, the safety features are abundant in the Elroq, with up to nine airbags and a suite of advanced assistance systems including Travel Assist and Intelligent Park Assist with Remote Parking capability.

Klaus Zellmer, CEO of Škoda Auto, expressed the strategic importance of the Elroq model stating, “Introducing new segments of electric vehicles is crucial for the further development of the company’s strategy and Škoda Auto brand plans. The Elroq is a remarkable step forward in our BEV range and represents our dedication to innovation and design.”
As Škoda expands its EV lineup, the Elroq arrives as the latest addition to the company’s electrification strategy. With its blend of sustainable design and robust performance, the Elroq is focused on making an impact in the competitive EV market. The Škoda Elroq is scheduled to debut in autumn 2024.
