The vehicle is one of just 100 built in collaboration between Hertz, Shelby American, and Ford Motor Company.

A limited-edition 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E Shelby GT-H is getting a second chance at auction. After failing to meet its reserve price earlier this year on Cars & Bids, the rare EV, which is one of just 100 built, is set to cross the block again at Mecum’s Florida Summer Special 2025.
Originally sold for $87,136, the Shelby GT-H version of the Mustang Mach-E features a series of aesthetic and performance-focused upgrades. These include a Borla GT500 simulated exhaust system, 20-inch gloss black wheels with GT-H caps, a carbon fiber hood and front lip, and Shelby’s signature gold racing stripes, according to Ford Authority.
The vehicle comes equipped with Ford’s extended-range 91 kWh battery pack, a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, and BlueCruise hands-free driving. Its output—480 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque—enables a 0–60 time of just 3.6 seconds and a quarter-mile run in 12.4 seconds, with an EPA-estimated 260 miles of range.

Numbered 49 of 100, the car also features GT-H seat embroidery and a Mach-E hood vent. The car will arrive at Mecum’s auction with just over 10,000 miles, having added a few thousand miles since its first auction attempt in April at Cars and Bids. During its auction attempt at Cars and Bids, it only had about 7,600 miles on the clock.
Despite being in generally excellent condition and still under factory warranty, the vehicle is not without minor flaws. Previous listings cited small paint chips on the front fascia and rear door, creases in the driver’s seat bolster, and scuff marks on some interior panels. These are unlikely to deter collectors interested in a rare, high-performance electric crossover with Shelby heritage, however.
